11.38?

I have been reading the Bhagavad Gita, and gaped in awe when i happened to read passage 11.38.

You are the primal God, the most ancient Person. You are the ultimate resort of all the universe. You are the knower, the object of knowledge, and the supreme abode. The entire universe is pervaded by You, O Lord of the infinite form. (11.38)

Is this the meaning of 1138 that i have been looking for? Is this the voice of God speaking to me! Bearing in mind I still do not have a vision of what God is, i'm sure its not the Christian version, and probably not the Hindu version(s) either.
