Your thoughts are like your eyes, they have a narrow focus and a wider blurred field of thinking.

Many thoughts will pass through your mind and only a few of them will be in focus at any time. those that are not in focus will create an impression of the world, but this is tainted by emotion and other baggage, it is not representative of the actual world. If you can manage to de-focus and concentrate less on your central thinking a wider focus is available to you.

Given this wider field of thinking you are in a new place. Things are not what they have seemed to be. You are able to see truths that were obscured before, a clarity is achievable that is not possible normally because you are too focused on specifics.
