I now understand what I have been shown about teaching, it seems that there are indeed only two basic types of teacher, those that teach with words and those that teach with actions/practical demonstrations. The technique used depends on the student and there are dangers involved with taking the role of teacher.

A teacher that uses the action method is likely to die by teaching his understanding to a pupil. This is no joke, and there are many stories throughout history of teachers being killed for their heresy. It is a vary serious matter to take this method of teaching on, however if one is prepared to sacrifice themselves, then the message that is taught seems to have a greater impact and far reaching implications on the rest of the world, a fact that cannot be applied to the teacher of words whose influence is minimal at best.
