Here's a novel idea, leave kids to educate themselves.

Let the little darlings use their natural curiosity to learn what they want to learn, when they want to learn it. Maybe just teach them literacy and numeracy and then stop, give them alloted time each day where they are not aloud to play, and just see where they take themselves.

I bet the you will not end up with adults who are dumb and bitter; stuck in jobs they hate. I'm sure so many kids rebel at school because they can see that what they are being taught is useless to their lives. Given the cult of the child that we have created, this is surely the next step?
